I always found my New Jersey accent a source of pride. In many ways, my Union City dialect defines who I am. But a new poll by Big 7 Travel says that we in the Garden State have the least sexiest speakers in the whole country, I’m guessing that’s because a Jersey guy stole the writer’s girlfriend (I kid).

Bronx accents are different from Brooklyn, Manhattan is different from Queens, etc. Each county has its own accent . Brooklyn and NJ are very different. 3/13/2009 · New England & NJ /NY accents to me are warm and welcoming. They are like a comfortable old shirt. Southern people are some of the nicest I’ve ever met & I think their accent just adds to their charm. I get a kick out of trying to place states or even (some) countries to an accent .
